Quality standards.

A standard you cannot write down is a standard you cannot enforce. Ours are written. They are also available to every customer before the contract is signed.

Most quality problems in roofing are not the result of negligence. They are the result of a vague standard, applied differently by different crews on different days. Our answer is a specific, written standard applied identically by every crew on every job. It is unglamorous. It works.

01 · Materials

What we install and why.

We install architectural shingles from a small number of manufacturers we have personally vetted. We use synthetic underlayments, not felt, on every job. We replace flashings rather than reusing them. We use ice-and-water shield in valleys, eaves, and around every penetration.

These choices add cost. They are also the choices that produce roofs that hold up. We do not compete on the cheapest possible material list.

02 · Installation

How the work is done.

We follow manufacturer fastener specifications without exception. We do not skip steps to make a day shorter. We inspect the deck after tear-off and discuss any required repairs with the homeowner before proceeding.

A supervisor is on every job. Crews are trained internally, not assembled day-of from whoever was available.

We follow manufacturer fastener specifications without exception. The shortcut would save an hour and cost a decade.
03 · Documentation

Photograph everything.

Every job is photographed at the deck, the underlayment, the flashings, and the finished surface. The photographs are delivered to the homeowner with the closeout package and retained by the company. If a question arises in year five, we have the documentation.

The discipline protects the homeowner. It also protects us. We have no reason to be afraid of evidence.
